PIC/S Annex 4: Course Scope for this online Certificate GMP course

The scope of this online GMP training course on PIC/S Annex 4 (compatible with EU Annex 4) applies only to the manufacture of veterinary medicinal products other than immunologicals.

It provides learners with a short overview of Annex 4 good manufacturing practice (GMP) requirements for these types of medicinal products.

The course includes guidance and definitions for the following:

• A medicated feeding stuff
  • E.g., any mixture of a veterinary medicinal product or products and feed or feeds which is ready prepared for marketing and intended to be fed to animals without further processing because of its curative or preventative properties or other properties as a medicinal product covered by Article 1 (2) of Directive 2001/82/EC;
• A pre-mix for medicated feeding stuff
  • E.g., any veterinary medicinal product (prepared in advance) with a view to the subsequent manufacture of medicated feeding stuff.
